The College Admission Test Review, or CAT Review for short, is an annual event by UP Caballeros, aiming to shape and prepare the minds of Batangueño senior high school students for the upcoming admission tests they will take in the hopes of getting accepted into their dream colleges or universities.
This year, the organization, together with UPlink Tutorial and Review Center, will hold the CAT Review Test Proper this Saturday, July 26, and the General Assembly at August 9, Saturday. The test proper will be held at two different venues: Our Lady of Caysasay Academy (OLCA) in Taal, and First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH) in Tanauan. Registration starts at 7 A.M. Registration fee is PhP 50.
The CAT Review consists of two parts held at two different weeks: the Test Proper and the General Assembly. During the test proper, the students are to answer a mock exam, similar to the actual college entrance tests in terms of structure, time limit and lessons. Students are highly encouraged to come back during the General Assembly. During this event, answers and lessons from the mock exams given to the students are discussed in a large class by lecturers from the tutorial center. In addition, awards are also given to the top three scorers for each of the subtests and the top three scorers overall.
The event this year was originally scheduled on July 19 and 26 for the test proper and the general assembly respectively. But due to the damages brought by the recent Typhoon Glenda which affected the whole province of Batangas, the event was rescheduled to a later date.
We invite and HIGHLY ENCOURAGE Batangueño senior high school students to attend the College Admission Test (CAT) Review this Saturday, July 26th at Our Lady of Caysasay Academy (OLCA), Taal, and at First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH), Tanauan.
